What are they about?? They are about passion, pride, showmanship! They want each of their fans leaving touched by their music. They want to leave you saying, " man those guys are hands down one of the best"! They want to take every fan on a journey! The band started in early '06 when Gavin hooked up with drummer Michael Millwood. They both went on a trip few aspiring musicians could handle three years of ups and downs. "It all started with the bass players!" Millwood and Douglas said. They went through three bass players in the course of a year when they finally landed Klint "Swayze" Barton." When he came in for the first practice me and Mike looked at each other and said man this guy is good!" says Douglas. Soon after that trouble struck again singer Lee Irvin departed for personal reasons. Another year went by before the band finally found its man. Frontman Steven Earnest! "He came hailing in out of nowhwhere!" laughs Barton. "Swayze and Steve had went to school together and they hadn't seen each other in years until they ran into each other in town he came over tried out and the rest is history!" says Millwood. After months of touring the guys couldnt help to find nothing but a missing link in their songs. "We played show after show and everything sounded good but you could tell something just wasnt right." says Barton. After some talk and discussion they figured it out! They needed another guitarist! And that is just what they got! "Bo was playing with 2 Its Face a metal band out of Florence and we had played a show with them in Dec. of 08 and he was incredible we all sat there with our mouths wide open in amazement of what he was doing with his fingers they were moving an 100 miles an hour!! says Douglas. Soon after that show 2 Its Face broke up and Douglas went out after Littlejohn. Then the final peice was put into the puzzle Bo Littlejohn was introduced to the band in Feb. of 09. Soon after the puzzle was put back together the band set out to do something that would change all of them for good! They went out and recorded their debut ep "The Awakening" with Brett Hestla! For those of you who do not know who Hestla is, he is the lead singer of Dark New Day, he the touring bass player for Creed and not long ago, in the 90's, he had some success with Virgos. "We went down to Orlando and hooked up with Brett and wanted to do what every musician wants to do, record an album that makes a difference. We sat down with him and told him where we wanted to go and what we wanted to do with our music and he helped shape us to what we are today and with this debut ep we think we hit the nail on the head!" says Douglas. "We thank him for everything he has done he has put us on the map and for that we are truly greatful" says the band. www.redfinemusic.com
