A little place in New Orleans was the birthplace to a blue-eyed future aspiring singer/songwriter by the name of Revital or “Revi” as most of her family and friends call her. She moved to Brooklyn, New York at the age of three, where she and her parents lived in a small apartment by the park. Revital always loved to dance and sing as soon as she could walk. No one realized what a big voice came out of this young child till about the age of 8. Singing along to Mariah Carey’s “Vison of Love” to the bathroom mirror, her father thought she was playing loud music again! When he realized it was Revital singing he immediately sent her to vocal lessons. Her favorite tunes were sung by the strongest vocalists, including Celine Dion and Whitney Houston. She would write short poems and sing them out to her classmates in the fourth grade! Many of her classmates were impressed and always joked that she would be the next big popstar! Now at the age of 19 she has developed a love for songwriting, she wrote amazing songs three which she recorded with Producer Arty Skye at Skyelab Studios. (www.skyelabmusic.com) “They have a certain chemistry together, he seems to understand my daughter's vision”, Revital’s father says of the multi-award winning producer. Revital also recorded a beautiful song called “The Rain” which she believes will be a number one hit someday, which was recorded with 20 year old producer Elie Mamman. They put their talents together to create something young and fresh and they will be working on more together in the future. When Revital was asked about when she decided she was going to pursue music, her answer was very surprising. “It was actually about a year ago at a holiday gathering.. Everyone asked me to sing, they gathered around, about 10 women and some children. So I started to sing “I will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston and as soon as I got to the chorus two of the women were crying, actual tears! That’s when I knew.” Revital plans to make music and tour the world one city at a time!
