As a child he enjoyed singing at church functions with a quartet group before hundreds of people. Through his pre-teen and teen years he developed a deep passion for R&B music and so combining his gospel roots with his passion he set out on a journey for stardom landing a major record deal with Rap-a-Lot Records/Noo-trybe/Virgin, Joining what would become that labels first R&B group "One Shade". After having local success he took his show on the road to the Big Apple as a solo artist inking a production deal with Square Deal Music Inc. After over 15 years of experience in the music BIZ he along with three other partners formed their own independent record label/publishing company called "G.A.B. Entertainment/The Songwriters Engineering Firm" which is set to release his first R&B album entitled "Grown Man". R. Hannah has the "IT" factor and that is what sets him apart. While singing and playing the piano, he has this natural ability to woo and wow audiences with heart throbbing love ballads, and grooves that emanate from his soul.
