Riendeau (Ree-En-Dough) - I could sit here and write a million and a half reasons why we think we’re the new sound on the block, or how we’re doing stuff differently than everyone else, or why you should listen to us instead of other bands; but instead of lying, I’d rather let our music stand for itself and introduce this band as I see them, and how I hope you will see us as well. I’ll start with the rhythm section. Josh Ardizzoni may be one of the shorter members of this band, but what he lacks in height, he makes up for tenfold in skill and heart. It’s been said that you can’t be a decent band without a talented drummer, and I can say for sure we’ve gotten really lucky in that department. On guitar, we’ve got two of my good buddies. We’ve got Jason Dooley, the youngest member of the band at 17 years old. All you can say is that the kid can seriously play. He can also grow a mean beard, but that’s beyond the point. Another bearded fellow plays guitar as well, Chris Richardson. Not only is Chris a dedicated player, who melds with Jay in a way I haven’t seen, he’s also one of the nicest people with the quirkiest sense of humor I’ve ever met. Talk to him at a show sometime and see for yourself. You may say to yourself “Is that Andre the giant on bass?” Good guess, but its Ryan Dooley. Jason’s older brother, Ryan holds it down much better than he gives himself credit for sometimes. He’ll be the first to downplay his ability, but also be the first to lay himself on the line for the band, a true backbone of this group. Bobby DiBari really helps Riendeau be in fact, Riendeau. We wouldn’t truthfully be the band we are right now without the atmosphere and melody he brings to every song. And as for me? I just started screaming along to some of my favorite bands, turned it into a hobby, finding out I love writing and going bananas in front of people who have similar tastes. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of getting on stage with your buddies and opening yourself up, and I couldn’t be happier doing vocals with these guys. In essence, all we are some regular dudes, some of which you might know, who like joking around and playing music. If what we make strikes a chord with you, please let us know. We love hearing from you and knowing that what we’re doing is falling on the right ears. Thanks to all who have and will support us. It means the world.
