Robert Coates

Grew up in South Dakota on a steady diet of country music. My dad used to load the whole family in the Buick and head off to the traveling Grand Ol Opry shows in Sioux Falls (usually on a school night) to see people like Johnny Cash, Merele Haggard, Hank Snow, Faron Young, Ray Price. Played in rock bands for years and then my country roots started to sprout but with some weird genetic mutations from all the varied influences picked up along the way.
