I’m an 19 year old man of God; who been singing for the lord since I was 5 years old. I was born on March 30, 1990; the oldest of 3 other siblings and raised in a small town located in the state of Maryland called Federalsburg. There is nothing constructive or beneficial for the youth in my community to motivate them to think positive, dream dreams, and or want for a better life. Most of my friends, as well as the kids in community run the streets, use alcohol, drugs, and constantly have run-ins with the law. But my story is different, I have a dream, that dream is to continue to sing for the lord. Touching everyone through my music. It has been a struggle for me, as a young artist to pursue my dream as a gospel singer and songwriter; mainly because of peer pressure, temptation and so much more but through much prayer, determination, family and church support, I have made it this far.
Music is my life it’s what I eat, sleep, breathe and live for. When I write my songs they come straight from God or whatever I’m feeling at that moment; all the while trusting and believing that God has full control of the situation. That’s why when I sing it comes straight from my heart were the true feelings are. Knowing that God has blessed me with this talent so that his name well is magnified, and by his will I will forever be blessed.
There have been many people that I have encounter in my endeavors to pursue my career in music but, many of them were very doubtful and not supportive. But I can firmly say “I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me.” God allowed me to graduate from high school on May 28, 2008. I am currently working as a teacher asst. at Colonel Richardson Middle School with the after school program. Well as attending Chesapeake College (majoring in music business). To God be the glory, for to him all thanks is given.
