For the past 50 years I have had a guitar. It is always the first thing I turn to when I feel down and the first thing I turn to when I feel happy.
For the past couple of years I have been involved with www.chordie.com which has been a great inspiration to me, there is a wealth of talented and friendly people there who are always ready to help and offer advice. I have written more songs since joining and had the pleasure of playing, and recording, many new songs written by other members.
I am still learning (you can teach an old dog new tricks) and enjoy the challenge of becoming more proficient with my guitars and my newly acquired autoharp.
