This self taught musician singer/songwriter/producer is emerging to the scene with his highly anticipated album “Becoming” which hits stores in the summer of 2010 under D-Mack Entertainment Group/island Def Jam digital With songs like “Why would I Risk” and “I need your love” its sure to make you fall in love. “This album is an introduction of me to the world, giving everyone a chance to see my versatility in music“, says Ronald. This album embodies something for hip-hop as well as RnB crowds. The leading single “I Don’t Wanna be Played” is blowing up the airwaves all over and has already proven to be a top ten single. “Just coming out on the scenes as a new artist I have so much to prove,” says Ronald. Not just to be a good artist but to be a great artist not just put out good music but to put out great music, The world deserves great music. I have to continue to improve daily and give it my all.” Ronald Ferguson was born Dec. 24, 1971,in Moncks Corner South Carolina, son of Annie and Ronald Ferguson Sr. He is married to Sheree’ Ferguson and together they have three wonderful kids: Keith, Trenton and Amiyah. Ronalds music career began at the age of six where he began playing the guitar, drums and bass in church. Music was a way of expressing himself and it soon led him to join the St. Stephen combined choir where he learned voices and strengthened his musical vocabulary. Music got even deeper for Ronald when he was introduced to the piano, and the rest was history. He has been traveling and performing all over the country with different artist, bands and choirs ever since.
