Hello music lovers of all genres. My name is RonyMac Styles aka: da Remedy. I am first and foremost a poet and a lover of life. I have truly been blessed and I treasure my gift that I've been blessed with. For many, many years I have kept my poetry, my stories and my songs to myself, only sharing them with the loves of my life. I found that perfect love, my "soul mate" who treasures my works almost as much as I do. Every time I would create something new, she would say: "Baby you should really publish this and let it be heard by someone in the music business, cause you never know, this could be a hit song or something". Then one Christmas she gave me this gift...a RECORDING STUDIO in a box for your computer and I have been creating music ever since. I have always loved music. When I was four years old, my daddy would sit me on his knee and attempt to teach me chords on the family piano. I would always attend his Saturday night jam sessions, with "Martha Reeves and the Vandellas", back in the black bottom of Detroit, Michigan. In the early 60s. I started writing rhymes in high school, for my radio disc jockey class in 1975. I continued writing peotry to the ladies I admired. I often sang to them my lyrics, to try to win them over and often succeeding in my quest,(smile). However, it was not until I met Grant Johnson, a keyboard player for a local band (Cosmic Love) that I had my poetry set to music. I read to Grant the lyrics of a poem I had written earlier that day called: "We Just Met" Grant loved it and invited me to meet his fellow band members, so they could hear my poem. Maannnnnnn", let me tell you, they took my words and set it to music. That feeling of hearing your lyrics put to music is one of the greatest feelings I have ever experiencd, regarding music. That was a very exciting day. Quiten Ransome the leader of the group invited me to join their group, I did. So that's a little bit about me...Now let's create some new music... RonyMac Styles
