Jimi and Matt had been playing music together for some time when they ran into bassman Barney, at a Killers concert in the Spring of '07. A mutual love of Interpol, U2 and indie party girls saw the band gel and play a string of shows in '08. The band then set about writing a batch of killer new songs to follow up the debut release, 'welcome to atmo-rock'.
The new material is a step away from the band's earlier work, as the new songs head towards a more dance oriented theme whilst still maintaining the energy and passion expected of a straight up rock show.
So, at the end of the day, none of this really matters...you dig it? Then you'll dig it.
