SaL GuoD (Douglas backwards) born in New York’s Harlem Hospital and grew up in the essence of Hip Hop, The Bronx. Musically started out in elementary school playing the Alto Saxophone until the tenth grade. He left his musical attachment for other enjoyments such as football, girls, and the ‘paper chase.’ Throughout his youth, Sal listened to all types of genres of music. Which has provided him with a mature ear for music. SaL GuoD became inspired by his closets friends (E-Zotic and Ho-Sway). Both of them told SaL, "The worst mistake is not trying it, therefore, pursue it. You never know the outcome.” Ever since then SaL GuoD has hopped on his spaceship and has been reaching for the stars. He has always wanted to create the sound, but never dared to pursue. Until his collaboration with D.J.ReXxX, from Nytelife Productions, which he considered a blessing. Together SaL and RexXx started sampling and creating unique music. SaL GuoD and ReXxX are always working on keeping that "B-Boy" groove but with a more musical feel. They are focused on keeping the foundation of what was created back in the day, which we call "Hip Hop." Today, Sal GuoD and ReXxX are working with artist such as Jungle Boogie Brown, Camp-Lo, TRIBECA, and Dolo The Bandit. Together they are musically creating true Hip-Hop..and won't stop!
