I started experimenting with recording when I got a old Reel to Reel tape deck and would create sounds by recording my voice while speeding up my voice or slowing it down on the tape deck with I got the Silver Star Nebula to try on my first Multi track recorder tape deck but never tried it until my first digital eight track which was based on an Alister Crowley Poem. I did do a irretating thing with my watch alarm on my Fostex X15 some years earlier with the X15 me and a high school buddy made a verity of recordings that prompted my friend to buy one also, but that is neither here nor there. I bought a nice guitar and then some effects My high school buddy and I went our own way I had a studio in a house I wish I never bought and recorded a lot of sort of jazz sounding stuff and occasionely I came up with something I liked as a song then I changed the way I approached music and witting songs short stories and stuff and now I need to change my approach again now I am using to tools f the trade to control sound rather than they control me control the instruments. I listen to Kate Bush, Peter Gabriel, Loudness from Japan, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, The Faces, Humble Pie, Bad Company, Yes, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Early Pink Floyd from the Syd Barrette Years threw Dark Side of the Moon, My first rock Album was the soundtrack to the play Hair. I watched a lot of bands on Don Kirshuner's Rock Concert and In Concert and the Midnight Special which exposed me to early rock. Next We had a Rock station in town that would sign on at6:00am till 12:00am playing the most rock with a lead guitar every time you turned them on bands like Stars, Legs Diamond, Angel, Ozz Knozz, Moxy, Thin Lizzy, April Wine, HeaYoka a home town band which we always loved Now I play a Les Paul a HM Strat, I usea fender blues junior, a Twin Reverb 1964 with the 15" JBL , a Roland 880ex track, a Reflex Digital reverb, and a Line 6 Distortion and an ADA delay
