Shayne Anthony

-Shayne Anthony's Bio- Shayne Anthony is an acoustic country rock artist, always in search of his own sound and creativity. The 33 year old born in Winnipeg, is a singer/songwriter, guitarist, now living in Birch Bay WA. Shayne recently fronted the YVR Band out of the Lower Main Land. Also Shayne had been playing rhythm guitar and singing harmony vocals for a country band out of Greeley, Colorado. Through 2005-2006, Shayne resided in Louisville, KY, playing in another country band. Their tours included, Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, & Illinois. Shayne had also been apart of a duo called Five Mile High. In the duo's endeavors they had reached many personal goals, in their songwriting and touring. Five years of traveling across America & Canada, had taught Shayne the life of the road and the stage. When watching Shayne perform in front of any crowd, you can see and feel the emotion he sings, in his face and body expressions. Shayne has many music influences, like Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams, Mark Chesnutt, Gary Allan and the list goes on and on, and not all country artists. Rock influences would include Matchbox Twenty, The Dave Matthews Band, Train, matt nathanson, the tragically hip, Billy Joel, Meatloaf, AC/DC...... His biggest influence would most likely be Garth Brooks. Shayne's music is melodic and original. Shayne's journey has always been exciting for him, any place to play is a good place, sharing his music is the most important. Shayne's music is usually about love, the good and the bad. One of the most inspirational songs to him is called "Heaven's Own Tennessee" written for his Father he had lost in 2003. The loss of his Dad gives Shayne the strength and courage to continue his path in a career in music.
