Biography

Sidney Grace is a four piece indie-rock group from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. It started as a meeting of Jerrod Harlan and Alex Castille. They found that they had a musical connection (in the way that the first day they played together, they wrote a whole song). From here on out, their musical ties grew further. Their songs came together quicker and with higher quality. But they knew that they needed a bass player and a drummer in order to pursue "Sidney Grace". Drew Kramer was then added on bass and Kyle Lucci was added on drums. These four members create exciting, fun music because they all pull influences from different styles of music. Some influences coming from more alternative backgrounds, others from indie, and even some from ambient style music. Sidney Grace has played in a variety of places. They have been one of the youngest bands to ever play at The Pepsi-Cola Roadhouse. They have played at Mr. Smalls Funhouse in Pittsburgh multiple times. Other places include The Victorian Hall in Weirton West Virginia, the Burgettstown charity concert, private parties, and more. In the spring of 2010, they recorded their debut EP, called "Stars", with the head of sound at KDKA studios in Pittsburgh PA. The EP consists of 6 songs and packaged and duplicated with the help of one of the regional vice-presidents of Minuteman Press. These EP's are sold at every show and are able to be streamed at myspace.com/sidneygracemusic and reverbnation.com/sidneygracemusic. The song "Little Lights" has even been submitted to "usa4real" internet radio. These four, fun-loving, boys love playng live and really know how to work a crowd. From times of getting hundreds of people in one room clapping, to having somebody stage dive to one of their jazz jams that they do at concerts. So far the peoples reaction to "Sidney Grace" has been one of excitement. They hope to continue on and be able to play for more and more people.
