The Spirits of Music is a three-piece band that focuses on positivity and atmospheric experimentation. The Spirits of Music formed and wrote music for six months. At the end of the six-month creative process, they worked in the home studio recording a demo that helped land their first gigs. After only two months, The Spirits acquired regular gigs in Lubbock as well as occasionally playing at the towns best venues like Jakes Backroom, the West Canyon Amphitheater, and La Diosa (a wine lounge). Obviously well suited to play anywhere, Jeff, the guitarist, Matt the drummer, and Colton, lead vocals and bassist, have high ambitions that are backed by dedicated hard work. Recently, The Spirits decided to record a live demo CD and begin the process of touring. With the help of sound engineer extraordinaire, Bradlely Prakope, The Spirits recorded an EP with aim of organizing a future National Tour. Expect to see them around.
