About Ssm

The music industry will never be the same. At least that’s the hopes of 3 friends from south Florida that are about to launch a brand new type of music website. They love music but find it difficult to find quality music on any other outlet other than the radio. They have created Knoodz.com to help them sort through all the different artists and songs that are found on a mixture of 10-20 websites featuring unknown, unsigned, or underground artists. Knoodz.com will be a hip-hop only music site. They are in contact with thousands of artists starting a collection of their best music for an August 1st 2010 Knoodz.com launch date. What is it? Knoodz.com will offer one song every 24 hours. All the songs will be submitted by the artists directly on the site. The Knoodz.com staff will then listen to every song, picking out the best songs, playing one daily. While the song is on the site, it will be open for rating and comments by fans and other artists. The song will be competing with other artist’s songs within a 10 day period. The winner with a combination of highest rating and most votes will win a prize. As of now the prizes consist of air time on an internet radio, and a mixture of other great prizes. At the end of the month the three 10 day winners will be put up for rating again to determine the winner for the month. At the end of the year, the monthly winners will be put up for voting to crown the Knoodz.com winner for the year. The winner of each level of voting will receive prizes in addition to the 10 day winner prizes. Why? There is no better feeling than finding a great new song. Knoodz.com will offer one excellent hip-hop song everyday. Most of the artists that are featured will be the future of the music industry. Knoodz.com will give record labels, A&R’s, and promoters a central location to find the next big star. You will be able to say you heard them long before they were famous. Also, there will be no better place for the artists to receive direct feedback from fans, giving specific direction on what the fans are looking for in the music they listen to. As it was stated before, the site will launch August 1st 2010. For artists, please feel free to email Music@Knoodz.com to get a song submitted prior to the site launch date.
