GREAT music from these guys love it. I know Bob and Mike personnel from high school. Bob has come a long way with his guitar playing and Mike does a great job on bass. He started out playing the drums back in the day. Bob's writing and skill playing is up there with some the best bands to come out of Detroit. Jamie Darnell's drum playing is superb and brings a great hard playing sound to the band. I use to go see a lot of bands play back in the day in and around Detroit. There's no debut that Striking South can hold they're own weight with any of them. If you have a chance to go see this band play do it. You won't be disappointed by them. Great music, great playing, and great bunch of guys. ROCK on Striking South. Hope to see you guys play down here in Florida some day. Make sure to check them out on you tube as well.

Striking South, What a great band. "One foot in the grave" and "Hangin' on" are both excellent songs that should be on the radio everyday. The band has a really good sound and great songwriting. Rock solid rythyms and memorable lead guitar solos from the heart. excellent vocals also. Buy this CD. Its a must have. Jack Hammer.
