This Brooklyn born New Jersey native’s career in music began on a higher status than most, rhyming since age eight and deemed top MC from freestyling at Eastside High School in which Sharrock attended as a youth placed him at this level. He has since then strived towards nothing but greatness and this speaks multitudes through his works of sheer brilliance, talent, and skill.
Sharrock found himself producing as well as being an artist and came to be fonder of the production aspect of the business. Later Sharrock temporarily joined forces with EPMD’s production team contributing a lot and learning more during this period.
Sharrock eventually relocated to Newport News, Virginia at the age of twenty-one to escape an undesired street life that could have derailed his path to greatness. He desired better for himself. Properly equipped, in Virginia, Sharrock delve much deeper into the art of producing music. He created music for a plethora of locally talented artist throughout the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. Now being properly acknowledged by a few of the world’s top DJ’s spinning one of his many hits, “VIP” with DJ Barry Blends, himself as Struggle Music, and Duff, he is reclaiming his spot on cloud level. Sharrock better known as Struggle Music has a lasting motivation that inspires many, a heart that is often heard beating through his musical creations, and growing knowledge of the music business that will further ensure more success.
