stuck on planet earth also known as SOPE is a three piece, independent, alternative, rock band from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The band was formed by Adam Bianchi (guitar/vocals), Al Capo (bass/vocals), and Andrew Testa (drums) in late 2006. *[1][2] Fed up with the music scene at the time, stuck on planet earth decided they wanted to bring the show to the people. They came up with the "back pack tour", which was a mini tour that consisted of the band showing up at high schools, after school across Southern Ontario. The band would play their acoustic guitars for the students while they left for the day. This not only helped solidify their growing fan base, but it also garnered attention on Youtube after the band decided to post videos of themselves getting kicked off school properties. In early 2007 they released their independent self titled EP, which was also made available through Itunes Canada *[3] . The EP was produced by Flashlight Brown alumni Fil Bucchino and Matt Hughes, who have also worked with Ajax, Ontario based band The Johnstones. In early 2008, it was reported in the Vaughan Citizen, that the band announced that they would again be working with producer Fil Bucchino on another EP. In October 2009 their second EP PLUS MINUS was complete, and on February 2nd, 2010 it was made available online through Itunes Canada[4] . The band noted that PLUS MINUS was a step closer in maturing as musicians and focusing their rock sound, and were especially inspired by both Nirvana and the Police. To date some of the bands accomplishments are noted to be playing on Rogers TV York Region living television show, receiving College airplay across southern Ontario and on such stations as CHRY 105.5 FM, opening for the Johnstones at the Mod Club in Toronto [5] , radio play on Canada's national Strombo show, as well as playing Toronto's new rock station, 102.1 the edge's steamwhistle indie club, and also performing as a part of 102.1 the edge's Bookie's Nu music Night.
