Wally also works with John Kay (Founder & Lead Singer of Steppenwolf ) recording a DVD that was released in June of 2004 titled John Kay & Friends Live at The Renaissance Center. "Sweet Daddy" shared the stage with blues legends Albert Collins, Buddy Guy, James Cotton, KoKo Taylor, Junior Wells, Taj Mahal and BO Diddlie . Sweet Daddy's smoking lead vocals, full-bodied harmonica, and soulful saxophone along with Uwe Herr's explosive Guitar add up to an unprecedented high energy Blues Rock show that few bands can match. It’s only a matter of time until people in cities and towns across America and Europe repeat the words spoken by the eighty-year-old trucker whose phrase gave rise to the bands name: “Lawd have mercy, Sweet Daddy Cool Breeze is in town!
