Tenacious O.N.E Bio
Tenacious O.N.E was born on the rough streets of Detroit on the Westside. He started pursuing music at the age of 13. He shortly formed a group called Downhill with his cousin and a childhood friend. Even when things seemed far away and impossible at times, Tenacious continued to grind daily to get his music heard. Tenacious linked up with a couple of more friends and family and started a crew that became Below Freezing Entertainment. Tenacious began to perform at open mics in and around Detroit. Determined to stand out from his other label mates, Tenacious worked day in and day out to create more music with an impeccable style. In 2003, Below Freezing Entertainment released an album called The Syndicate. The Syndicate created a nice buzz throughout Metropolitan Detroit, New York, and Atlanta. Heralded instantly as one of Detroit’s leading rap voices, Tenacious O.N.E expressed an outspoken, self-empowered swagger that rallied the streets of his city. Tenacious and the group has also appeared on Metro Detroit music shows Turbulence, and Video Go Go His sound synthesis of well-crafted rhetoric and street-glamorous imagery found their way to the ear of mOvision Entertainment entrepreneur Melissa Pearson who views Tenacious O.N.E as a game-changing artist and an impervious celebrity. Tenacious O.N.E is primed for success with his versatile, melodic style and catchy hooks. His highly anticipated album ''For Better or for Worse'' is due for Summer 2011 release, with the debut single “Trails of Fire" slated for release in 2011 under the mOvision Entertainment label, distributed by Interscope Records.
