Davion Stewart(Dee-Redd), and Zachary West(Lil Zack) were both born and raised on the South Side of St.Louis,MO. They are first cousins since Dee-Redd's Mom and Lil Zack's Dad are brothers and sisters. They grew up together but were always heavily influenced by sports, playing football and basketball. But they soon started rapping with their other friends and cousins since they went to different schools. Lil Zack started out with a group AMP Squad, and Dee-Redd started out with a group named DEM Shaw Boyz. After they realized the group were not working they soon went to venture solo careers. By this time Dee-Redd and Lil Zack were not really close anymore, but then one summer in 2007 they somehow reunited and got back close. They did alot of songs together but still did not form a group. They were still both solo artist. Then one day they realized that they wanted to be a group because they worked so well together. They never argued about who is going to get first verse the hook, or anything. Its just instict and it came naturally. People soon began to notice how talented they were, and started to listen to their music all the time. Plus, their always setting new trends from clothes, language, and just swag PERIOD. They never try to imitate other's music or style. They always try to make their music make sense instead of just saying anything on a track which people just have to respect about these young teens.
