What about "the Jokers?" Pete said. And from then on it was mayhem. People were going on their myspace and facebook like crazy and telling them how good they were and listening to their music. It was a glorious thing. It all started out with the two brothers, Jeff and Nick Snyder. Jeff and Nick had been singing and listening to music from a very young age. Jeff was excelling in the schools choir and had solos, while Nick learned to rock on the guitar. Pete Snyder the drummer (of no relation to Jeff or Nick) starred in school's band and jazz band for a long time and became an ace on the drums. Nick and Chet Lewis (guitar) had been friends for a long time. Nick eventually convinced Chet to pick up the guitar and eventually got very good at it. They played together all the time and grew very close. Dusty Green (bassist/awesome) was born to play music. Recording demos of himself on his school laptop he quickly grew knowledge and expertise in the music field. The Jokers first gig together was at their school's art festival (250+ people there). One day after track practice Pete came to Nick and Chet and said "Hey guys i got an open spot for tomorow night's Art Festival." They had one night to prepare for this gig. Sadly because of college Jeff and Dusty couldn't make it so they had to soldier on without a singer or bassist. Nick, Chet, and Pete played an early version of an original song called Rock N Roll City and an AC/DC cover of If You Want Blood. Even without time to practice and a singer and bassist, they did very well and got loads of applause and compliments from the audience. People they've never met were coming up to them and telling them how great they were, and even got an offer for another gig. Life was great. Now they get together and practice and write songs.
