Their first EP released in February 2003 was named one of the ten best independent releases of 2003 by Street Miami, and the subsequent album, Grenadine was well received both in Florida and elsewhere as "an inspired mix of pop-punk and indie-rock."(Miami New Times) Influenced by the music of The Cure, The Wannadies, and The Beatles, The Brand is in the early stages of writing their third release and plans to tour this summer.
