Formed in 2006, The Conspiracy Plan established a strong reputation on the live scene around NSW with their debut EP The Crisis. Realizing from the get-go that the best way to spread the word was to get on the road and do things "the old fashioned way", since their formation The Conspiracy Plan have played countless shows up and down the East Coast. This has included visiting popular venues such as the Greenroom in Canberra, Newcastle's Cambridge Hotel, the Hoey Moey at Coffs Harbour, the Sutherland Shire's Carringbah Bizzos, The Annandale Hotel, The Spectrum Sydney, Wollongong UniBar, the Lennox Point Hotel at Byron Bay, Ruby's Lounge in Melbourne, Brunswick Hotel and Brisbane's Barsoma. The lads have also recently played a camp quality charity concert in their local town of Wollongong to a crowd of more than 7000 people, which helped to raise more than $267,000 for a great cause. Their incredibly infectious, diverse music and charismatic live shows has also enabled them to impress at any type of show they have appeared on. Whether it's supporting screamo/hardcore stars Behind Crimson Eyes, Sydney ska/punkers Bagster, Jazz/Acoustic Soloist Axel Whitehead, Central Coast indie stars Angela's Dish or pop/rock outfit Avalon Drive, The Conspiracy Plan have displayed a knack for not only being able to fit onto any type of bill they are performing on, but win over the audience with their enthusiastic performances and sense of humour. The Conspiracy Plan have been featured in top-selling alternative music magazine Blunt (Issue 71- Loud Noises compilation) alongside the likes of Atreyu and Behind Crimson Eyes. They have also appeared in several South Coast-based newspapers, been named as a finalist in the University Of Wollongong's Band Competition 2008 and performed live on Scout TV (http://www.scouttv.com.au). The upbeat, fun and just plain infectious seven tracks that make up their new independently released EP Can I Borrow a Feeling? are sure to only further the band's growing reputation. Produced by Greg Stace (One Dollar Short, Kid Courageous, Buried In Verona) at Sydney's Everland Studios, The Conspiracy Plan's livewire energy and infectious melodies have finally been captured properly on record. The Conspiracy Plan is Glenn 'Funworth' Haworth (vocals/guitar), Den Murray (drums), Kieran Goodall (bass/vocals) and Ben Jones (guitar/vocals). "A popular fixture of the Wollongong and Sydney live music scenes, The Conspiracy Plan may just be able to take their melodic, upbeat brand of pop/punk to the rest of the country with this, their second EP & Stace has allowed the band &25;s vibrant demeanour and on-stage energy to be replicated as much as possible on these songs." - Death Before Dishonour magazine review of Can I Borrow A Feeling? "If this EP is only a taste of things to come, the Conspiracy Plan should be a household Name within a few years." - Australian Punk Alliance review of Can I Borrow a Feeling? (www.australianpunkalliance.com.au) "If more local bands can put together an overall package like this, there is definitely no crisis in the local music scene." - Alby Fares, Harvest magazine review of The Crisis.
