Joe A. and the Dukes of New york is a combination of rock, funk, jazz and hip-hop which has been performing in lounges, bars, clubs and local television stations in manhattan for the past 2 years however certain members have been in performing producing and studing longer in alternate genres gaining knowlegde and experience. It has been influenced by Jimi Hendrix, George Clintion, Jim Morrison, Duke Ellington, Bob Marley. They are a artistic unique egdy band the is always atempting something new and inovative. It has gained great fans and popularity. It has performed in places like Fontana's, the Annex, Uncle Mikes,Sybiria, Port 41, and the MNN(public broadcasting).
