It's the best of times, it's the worst of times...for music lovers that is. In an ever transitioning music scene few things remain constant. Many come and go but one thing will never change; Great artists will continue to make great music. Big Ran makes great music. Having been raised in San Francisco, California, Big Ran was exposed to an ecclectic variety of musical and cultural influences and his love for hip hop was developed at an early age. He recognized his gift for writing in high school and took up producing shortly thereafter. That gift has afforded him the opportunity to travel around the world shutting down stages from San Francisco to London while producing and recording with some of hip hop's elite including Outkast, MA$E, and gospel phenom Canton Jones to name a few. As fate would have it, Big Ran left San Francisco to attend college and pursue career opportunities in Atlanta, GA where he currently resides. An entrepreneur at heart, he founded the record label A&A Worldwide in 2003 and has released the compilation album "The A&A Way" as well as 3 volumes of the Built 2 Win mixtape series. Big Ran has purposed in his music to motivate and inspire people to obtain and enjoy a good life, as heard in his lyrics. He is passionate about creating music that resonates with the listener long after the initial experience. Music that not only sounds great, but FEELS GREAT.
