The Roses are high energy Rock 'n' Roll from Nashville, Tennessee! Beginning in June, The Roses have stayed hard at work. The Roses have released a full length studio album, a follow-up EP, received magazine placement, been featured on popular radio, been featured on cable television, participated in live internet broadcasts, and launched Sprint's new 4G network! Currently The Roses are participating in the filming of a Battle of the Bands/Reality TV show, having a song placed into a major motion picture, planning a college radio promotion campaign, consulting with publicists, planning a European tour for summer 2011, Coordinating a "Street Team", and Fundraising.
The Roses recorded their eponymous debut at Nashville's Welcome to 1979 (WelcomeTo1979.com) with the help of producer Jim Reilley (The New Dylans). Some of Nashville's top industry professionals were called to participate. The Roses' album features lead guitar played by Audley Freed (Black Crowes and Peter Frampton), Piano work by Costo Davis (Alabama and Shania Twain), and Mandolin by Cory Younts (Old Crow Medicine Show) as well as performances by some of Nashville's hottest new and up and coming instrumentalists. The album was mastered by Jim Demain at Yes Master(YesMasterStudios.com).
The Roses recorded their new "LadyKiller" EP at 16Ton studio on Nashville's historic Music Row. Again, with the help of producer Jim Reilley, the EP features The Roses' new bassist Allen Eason! Allen's playing experience has added a new dynamic to The Roses' evolving sound. Allen is sponsored by Cort basses (CortGuitars.com) and is the veteran of multiple tours including Vans Warped Tour.
The single "LadyKiller" was recently featured on 103.3 WKDF as a part of the popular Nashville broadcast The Billy Block Show. The Roses "LadyKiller" EP marks a new chapter in The Roses' innovation and will be available for purchase very soon!
