The Roses are high energy Rock 'n' Roll from Nashville, Tennessee! Beginning in June, The Roses have stayed hard at work. The Roses have released a full length studio album, a follow-up EP, received magazine placement, been featured on popular radio, been featured on cable television, participated in live internet broadcasts, and launched Sprint's new 4G network! Currently The Roses are participating in the filming of a Battle of the Bands/Reality TV show, having a song placed into a major motion picture, planning a college radio promotion campaign, consulting with publicists, planning a European tour for summer 2011, Coordinating a "Street Team", and Fundraising. The Album: The Roses recorded their eponymous debut at Nashville's Welcome to 1979 (WelcomeTo1979.com) with the help of producer Jim Reilley (The New Dylans). Some of Nashville's top industry professionals were called to participate. The Roses' album features lead guitar played by Audley Freed (Black Crowes and Peter Frampton), Piano work by Costo Davis (Alabama and Shania Twain), and Mandolin by Cory Younts (Old Crow Medicine Show) as well as performances by some of Nashville's hottest new and up and coming instrumentalists. The album was mastered by Jim Demain at Yes Master(YesMasterStudios.com). The EP: The Roses recorded their new "LadyKiller" EP at 16Ton studio on Nashville's historic Music Row. Again, with the help of producer Jim Reilley, the EP features The Roses' new bassist Allen Eason! Allen's playing experience has added a new dynamic to The Roses' evolving sound. Allen is sponsored by Cort basses (CortGuitars.com) and is the veteran of multiple tours including Vans Warped Tour. The single "LadyKiller" was recently featured on 103.3 WKDF as a part of the popular Nashville broadcast The Billy Block Show. The Roses "LadyKiller" EP marks a new chapter in The Roses' innovation and will be available for purchase very soon! The Roses and Billy Block: Recently, The Roses have developed a relationship with popular Nashville radio personality Billy Block. Billy Block is the host of The Billy Block Show which features live performances from hot Nashville artists and is webcast live from The Rutledge in Nashville every Tuesday. In addition to being webcast, artists have the opportunity to apply for broadcast on the local cable channel CAT-19. Billy Block also hosts a radio segment on 103.3 WKDF every Sunday live from Tootsie's on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Billy also publishes a monthy Billy Block Show magazine which is available at news stands all over Nashville. In October, Billy Block selected The Roses for feature across his multiple media platforms. The Roses have been featured with a full page in the November edition of the Billy Block Show magazine and will be performing The Billy Block Show on November 23rd! On November 16th The Roses broadcast a live web simulcast to all of the new 4G devices. The web simulcast was hosted by Billy Block and broadcast from 16Ton studio on Nashville's historic Music Row.
