The Times New Roman are a 5 piece Alt-Rock band from Baltimore, Maryland. Originally forming in the early months of 2008, TNR has risen up the Baltimore music scene playing such venues as Rams Head Live, Recher Theatre, Sonar and The Quarter at Bourbon Street. Due out this Spring, "Passengers" will be the band's first full length release. This collection of songs came out of day long jam sessions, turned into all nighters, which turned into a mix of melodic, rock, and psychedelic bass driven tracks that come together to match the diversity of the band itself.
While the backgrounds of each member is different, TNR find commonality in the music they write together and draw on experiences gained throughout their travels. With standout tracks like "Shy Anne" "Burns Like It Should" and "Passengers", The Times New Roman demonstrate their ability to knock you down with in your face rock, pick you up with resonating hooks and have you singing along for days on end.
