Tito y Soylo Biography: Born Ramon Vasquez and Zoilo Rivera respectively, the duo of Tito y Soylo are a bright hot comet of rhythm and dynamic energy making their mark in a genre that fuels today’s hottest musical movement, Reggaeton. A musical genre that distinguishes itself and sets itself apart by fusing Jamaican dancehall with Panamanian reggae root. Setting themselves apart with music so unique that it has the ability to cross gender lines and appeal to all races and ages, Tito y Soylo have quickly become household names in their home town on the music scene and as respected artist. They have performed in local clubs such as “Rumba’s”, "Dragonfly’s", “The Village” and “Chameleons” they have captivated audiences as they performed on stage during the Puerto Rican Festivals in Philadelphia and their home town of Lancaster, PA. Tito y Soylo has also featured in numerous mix tapes/cds collaborating with local underground groups in Lancaster, PA. They recently appeared in Dj. Carlitos from “To Much To Handle Dj’s” from N.Y.C. Mix Cd titled “Club Madness Vol. 2”. This earned them a slot on the Miss Stacey DTF Satalite Radio Show in the upcoming artist segment. They have placed top 10 spots on the Tropical, Latin and Dance/Club genres in a music compitition website www.ourstage.com/fanclub/titoysoylo where they ended collaborating with international artist Dona Maria. Where they remixed "No Quiero"(La Mosh Aayza) a number one hit in her native country of Lebanon, Beirut. They are currently working on a Salsa remix for an upcoming artist in Miami, Florida Leon Cheva titled “Dime” a fusing of Tropical/Urban Salsa sound mixed with a twist of Hip-Hop/Reggaeton feel. Tito y Soylo have also opened up events in York, Reading, Allentown and Philadelphia PA., and performed on the same stage with major artist in the Reggaeton movement with the likes of Julio Voltio, Zion, Tito“El Bambino”, Trebol Clan, Glow, and Nicky Jam to name a few. Hailing from Caye, Puerto Rico and crediting their musical influences to Reggaeton pioneers Vico C, El General, Wisin y Yandel and Daddy Yankee this dynamic duo lays down their own stamp on the world of Reggaeton, making them not only original, but a breath of fresh air with insightful lyrics and drive for excellence that refuses the thought of mediocrity. Their love for music is their bond and their unique chemistry lyrically and as performers is what sets them apart. Evidenced by their hit “Amor En La Pista” for which they also filmed a video that can be seen on their website on www.youtube.com. Tito y Soylo continue breaking new grounds in the fusing of Reggaeton with Rock, Hip-Hop and Techno, Club/Dance tracks that can be displayed in their tracks “Pa La Disco”, “Baila”, “Fast N Slow” and their tribute to Freestyle music “No Puedo Olvidarte” where they showed their ability to cross racial boundries by recording a Spanish/English track. Tito y Soylo even show tribute to their roots by remixing a salsa classic by Lalo Rodriguez “Si, Te Menti” with a Reggaeton feel. Their forthcoming debut album “Tumbando Puertas” promises to be the hottest album yet, as respected friends and colleagues with the likes of Marisol, Bibi, Panamanian Rapper Naughty Cat, C.o a.k.a. “The Face”,Los Koketos, Ralph REAL and Jon ROCKER collaborate and lend their particular styles to this dynamic twosome.
