Singer/Songwriter Tony Giuliano picked up the guitar in high-school and wrote a song as soon as he could switch from the G chord to the D chord. Tony cut his teeth with live performance as the lead singer and bassist in Second Helpin', which packed many clubs in central mass as well as outdoor parties and functions, playing an exciting blend of his originals, old blues standards and classic rock. After studying voice with Bristol Studios of Boston, Tony left his full time career to dedicate all his efforts to improving his craft and pursuing his dream of being a successful singer/songwriter. Continuing his work with Bristol’s Owner/Producer Ric Poulin, (Drop Kick Murphy’s, Maxine Nightengale, Jada,) Tony has become prolific as a writer, vocalist and performer. Tony released his first demo cd entitled, 'Rising Tide' in early 2007 with the help of Bristol Studios’ producer, Chris Billias, and has been bringing his act to the public. Performing as a solo acoustic act, Tony is highly regarded as a very engaging performer. He introduces his originals in an introspective, storytelling glimpse into his masterful songwriting mind, and then cranks up the energy with his eclectic mix of cover songs that he embellishes and improvises, wowing the crowds with his vocal and performance prowess. Tony's songs are about every day observations, interactions and situations and are orchestrated with catchy lyrics painted over insightful melodies and accented with edgy bursts of emotion that place you right at the heart of his soul. Tony attributes most of his style to the Beatles, but leaves room for plenty of influences from the likes of Paul Simon, Elton John, Jim Croce and many many more. Currently in the studio at Bristol, Tony is hard at work on a full-length album set to be released. You can catch Tony at many local venues in Central Ma, both as a headliner and an opening act for other well known bands. He will soon be appearing at many popular spots in Boston and New York City.
