TREY BLAQ is a very talented group that looks to make big moves in the music industry, now and in years to come. The group is comprised of three well established solo artists. The soulful, sound of singer, songwriter and producer JAMES PROTEJE adds his own style of hip-hop and rythum and blues that he calls "Phuture & B" and will provide a perfect contrast to the straight from the soul lyricism and authentic style of the second artist XCLUSIV (who also is a songwriter) never fells to bring his passion for music to the forefront. The third artist and songwriter CHEEF compliments each members style with his own creative approach that always seems to paint a vivid portrait with each word that he says. The group name speaks for itself, TREY- meaning three for the individuals in the group, and BLAQ- which speaks for each of their past, present, and future; showing that no matter what lifes obstacles are with hardwork, and dedication its possible to come together to do great things.
