Trigger is a three piece rock band from Fallon, NV who formed on New Year’s Day 2008. The band consists of Brandon Smart on bass guitar and lead vocal duty, Dennis Nicholls on the drums, and Nick Matlavage on lead guitar and backing vocals. Trigger is a three piece rock band from Fallon, NV who formed on New Year’s Day 2008. The band consists of Brandon Smart on bass guitar and lead vocal duty, Dennis Nicholls on the drums, and Nick Matlavage on lead guitar and backing vocals. They have been a fixture in the Northern Nevada music scene since they formed, playing shows at bars, festivals, and private parties in Fallon, Carson City, Lake Tahoe, Reno, Fernley, and Silver Springs regularly just to name a few. Their original music is very diverse, as anyone who has listened to their self-released debut CD “Share The Dirt” could tell you. Trigger fuses elements of contemporary rock, reggae, grunge, metal, punk, and classic rock of the 50’s and early 60’s. They are embarking on the completion of a second full length CD as we speak. Trigger has an extensive catalog of cover music from the 60’s through to the present day; Enough material to play a show lasting as long as three hours opening for themselves, as they have been known to do on occasion, in order to build up and showcase their original catalog.
