G'day Guys, So I have to write something here about myself. I never know how to approach this. Do I get some pro bio writer or do I just tell you myself? F*ck it, i'll just do it! By the end of this you might be telling me otherwise!Ok, so lets start current and work back.I'm currently in the studio recording my self titled debut Album. I'm pretty much doing everything myself at the moment. Writing, Recording, Engineering & Performing.I need another 2 of me to get everything done! Ahhh!So many songs to finish, but I am getting there.I've had numerous placements on TV & Film with my songs & music and I'm really excited to get my album finished so you can all hear it. Style wise I like to write what ever comes out. If its rock, acoustic or some piano ballad. As long as its from the heart and its a song I'm proud of, I'll release it. I just finished my first music video for "Never Walk Away" so if you get a chance check it out. When I'm not writing and recording I'm touring the world as Guitarist for the band TATU. Yes it is a great job and I love it. The girls are awesome and the guys in the band are all my mates. I feel very blessed.I have been everywhere and played gigs at some of the strangest places, countries & cities you would ever think about touring. Its been a fantastic experience. From traveling on the trans Siberian Train through Siberia & Russia to playing across Europe, Latin America, and Asia. We have even rocked out in front of 150,000 people in Kazahkstan! It was some mining town in the middle of completely nowhere. Who would of thought a 150,000 people would turn out. It was an incredible experience.Right now we, TATU, are getting ready to release our 3rd album. We shot 1 music video in late 2007 and are about to shoot another very soon. We also have a movie coming out this year, which we are heavily involved in, staring Mischa Barton. So lots coming up in 2008. Hopefully lots of touring and performing all over the world again. I currently live in Los Angeles but I was born and raised in a country town in Victoria, Australia called Traralgon. Thats Aboriginal for river, little fish. Makes sense, because I never really caught anything big there.Basically grew up on a farm and did all the crazy things you do as a kid on a farm. Had tones of animals, everything from a Kangaroo, a Koala to lizards, horses, goats etc...We lived in the Australian bush, so you never knew what you were going to come across. My dad always played in bands so I grew up around music and started playing with him when I was around 14. Later on I went and studied guitar with a professional guitar teacher. Studied for about 8 yrs before I made the huge leap to LA to study further at a Hollywood based music school. Now that was a huge shock to the system, coming from a small country town in OZ to the crazy City of Angels. From there it was a struggle just to survive and live in LA. Did every kind of job imaginable, some I'm proud of and some I'd like to forget. ;)Played in numerous bands around LA, even got up and played with the Beach Boys one New Years Eve in Vegas. Crazy night that was! It wasn't until Interscope Records came to see me and my band at the Viper Room that the Keyboard player and I were approached to play with TATU. From there its been an awesome ride!Wow give me some space to talk about myself and I don't shutup! Anyway I hope this gives you some idea of who and what I'm about. At the end of the day its all about the music. I hope you like what I do and get something out my music. Thats what would really make me happy. Thanks for stopping by and if you made it all the way down here, you have too much time on your hands! ;)Stick around more music to come! Thanks mateTroy MacCubbin
