EVERY ONCE IN AWHILE A GREAT R&B GROUP COMES ALONG AND AMAZES EVERY EAR HEARD BY THE GENERAL PUBLIC... WE ARE TRU SOL, AND THIS IS OUR STORY: When you hear the name TruSol, what comes to mind? Sweet harmonies, original sound, and amazing chemistry are just some of the many characteristics a group should possess to distinguish themselves from the rest of the crowd. Never have you witnessed a group so filled with passion about singing. This up and coming R&B group is definitely full of that soul. Founding members, Terrence (aka Teddy B) and Termaine (aka Mello), started this talented four member group from Jersey City, New Jersey. Living in a rough neighborhood...music was the safest thing to keep them out of trouble...as high school friends, Terrence and Termaine realized their vocal talents complimented each other and came up with the idea of forming a group – and TruSol was born. Initially, it began as the two singing at nearby churches and weddings until they met Kareem (aka Vocalz), an inspiring singer himself. His dynamic vocals and church choir background made him a welcome addition to the group, harmonizing together, the duo had now become a trio and was starting to gain recognition in their hometown. But TruSol was not yet complete. As destiny would have it, Terrence was introduced to Tone (aka Notez) from New Brunswick, New Jersey. After hearing the melodic TruSol, Tone realized his voice would help make the group complete and he was eager to join. Tone was accepted into the group and a new chapter of TruSol emerged. Their true harmony and authentic sound as a quartet comes alive in performances spanning from their home state of New Jersey to the busy streets and subways of New York City. Regular venues include the Den, the Village Underground, Club Groove, the Ill Campanello, The Punch Lounge and the M1-5 Club in New York City just to name a few. They have been featured at the Savoy Grill, the Lollipop Lounge, The Chandelier and McSwiggins in New Jersey, all of which were hot spots for the young talented group. Tru Sol wants everyone to realize that every time you see this group perform, their passion and love will stir emotion. Ultimately, Tru Sol performs for the passion, for the love of music. Music is what has brought Tru Sol together, and music is what will keep the group together and we thank God for that. Whenever Tru Sol does a show or performs our music, we put our best foot forward. We have amazing chemistry on and off stage- TruSol is a brotherhood. TruSol captivates their audience and hopes to reach everyone, leaving them wanting more, and more … so let our harmonies touch your soul!
