Unique was born August 10, 1986 in Dallas DTown Texas. Unique was given the name Whitney Brion White. As soon as she was placed in her mother’s arms she began calling her NiNi. Unique was raised in a musical environment. Both of her parents were musicians and singers. They had a R&B band that consists of other family members. Unique and her brother, Choppa would be at rehearsals and would attend some of the shows. They would perform on shows with the band sometime. The family started grooming them for show business at a very early age. During her school years, Unique performed in the school choir, school plays, talent shows and the step team. As a child, television, card games, board games, etc were not of interest to Unique, music was her only concern. By age 7, Unique developed a habit of writing on anything she could get her hands on. By the time she reached the fifth grade, age 11, Unique was writing poems, short stories and essays. Her teacher saw great potential in her skills and was amazed by how well put together and organized her works were for her age. Unique always had a passion for writing music lyrics, movies, poems, books, commercials, anything that could be written. At the age of 12, Unique realized that her passion was for more than just writing; she felt she had the ability and heart to write and perform rap music. By the time Unique reached middle school, 13 years of age, she knew that she wanted to be a rap artist and write R&B music for other artists. Unique began compiling a collection of work and performing from age 13 until now. Being greatly inspired and influenced by her family, especially her mother, Unique at the age of 20 is coming full force in the rap game. She established her Dallas based business this year, Filthy Real Entertainment. Keep your eyes and ears open. She’s coming to your pods, mp’s, cells, radios and screens soon.
