Velvet Garden is a three piece grunge band from Phoenix Arizona that formed in early 2009 between guitarist and vocalist Damon Johnston of the Texas grunge band "Sirensong", bassist Doc Frasier of "Three Fold Fate" and Gary Loomis former drummer for "Heart" and former drummer for "Sorcerer" with Geoff Tate of Queensryche.The grunge band from Phoenix Arizona musical roots extend from Seatle Washington to Dallas Texas to Southern California to Phoenix Arizona.Velvet Garden's unique style and sound is a direct result of the bands influences by such artist as Nirvana,Alice in Chains,Stone Temple Pilots and other grunge musical influences.Velvet Garden is currently in the studio working with world renownd music producer Otto D'Agnolo at Chaton Studios in Phoenix Arizona recording tracks for their debut CD "Hell Springs Flames" to be released in late 2009.Otto D'Agnolo has produced albums for such artist as Alice Cooper,Seven Dust,Judas Priest,Paul Mc Cartney and DMX.Velvet Garden will release a DVD disckography of the band and is currently recording their second CD "Never" to be released in early 2010 as well.Swerve Records signed Velvet Garden in early 2010 and will be launching the bands world wide tour with UK/USA Management starting in the US and Europe.In late 2010 the bands U.S. label affiliate Stutter Records announced that Vicki Hamilton formerly of Geffen Records who managed such artists as Guns and Roses,Motley Crue,Poison and Faster Pussycat would be joining Stutter Records to manage the band starting in 2010.
