Verbal Kint was born, Ryan Bolling at St.John's Riverside hospital, in Yonkers, NY in the early eighties. He was born to a mother who worked around the clock to make sure the ends always met. His father was known for his commitment to the streets that raised him therefore allowing Verbal ample time to indulge into similar activities. At the end of his adolescence he and his immediate family moved down south to Maryland for what they thought was a better life..... Since a child Ryan was considered a wordsmith or a smart mouth if u asked his mother. Rap was a side effect since his love for music was strong enough to require therapy. He realized that he was gifted with words when, after cypher he was the man of the hour. He never considered himself a rapper, just a hustler with a flow! While in Maryland, Bmore then the D.C.metro area, Verbal acquired a taste for eating mc's. That endless hunger turned into a desire to make organized music, writing for both r&b artists and rappers alike. After recording his amateur album entitled "Almost Perfect" the positive feedback gave him the confidence to create a real product for the people. This "real product" is now and will forever be known as "The Epidemic", a classic in the eyes of serious music listeners who were fortunate enough to hear it. Then asked, “what was the inspiration behind this versatile array of hypnotic melodies?" He responded, "I just flipped myself inside out and let it run. See, I love all music and it’s all a part of my musical personality, so to speak. Sometimes I feel 'gutter', sometimes I feel in tuned with the ladies and their needs, sometimes I just want to trigger untapped thoughts or emotions that are in me at the time, and sometimes I just feel ignorant and that's what your going to get. But it’s all me!" When asked Verbal, what is your goal in this industry and what do you hope to accomplish with this project? He would answer...."Honestly, I made this album for me, but I just want people to see things through my eyes. I've grown increasingly disappointed in the level of effort and the lack of depth being put into the industry that sweet talked my ears off as a youngin...to put it plainly, the game just aint what it used to be! And of course I want what everyone wants... Success..Notoriety..Money..But the love from fellow music junkies would outweigh all of the above. That’s why I titled it "The Epidemic."
