Vision born Sherrie L. Washington is in every instance the essence of the word Artist and its meaning. Her creative ability to turn her real life experience into a song that portrays a visual image in the listener's ear is impeccable. Vision was born musically inclined and at the age of seven years old was already a lead singer of a Gospel group. She continued to sing throughout her school years in school choir and a long the way learned to rap participating in the after school rap battles back in the day. Vision was already righting poetry and published her first book of poems while in Junior High School after one of her classmates got killed riding a four wheeler and provided a copy to her entire student body. Writing poetry help to develop Vision writing capabilities. Also while in junior high she wrote her first school play. The school continued to perform years after. Writing became away for Vision to express herself especially through times of trial and tribulation. Her life experience begins from the tender age of five from watching her mother go through domestic violence and then experience the same fate in her own life, to eventually ending up as a teen runaway included in the count of many emotionally and physically battered homeless teens in the United States.Vision grew up in a single parent home with three other siblings although raised together very distant from each other. Needless to say Vision lived a hard life but managed through it all to over come many obstacles and hurtles. She dropped out of high school in her tenth grade year but received her GED and later to attend College, achieve many other skills training and schooling. She became both street savy and book smart, a lethal weapon mixed with experience, a clear VISION, talent, and creativity. Now in her womanhood and a single mother of three children of her own Vision can see clearly now the rain is gone and all she wants to do is connect with those who have experience the same to and those who need to know that they are not by themselves. Not all doom and gloom in Vision life she experienced love and happiness. She accredits those experience through her spiritual relationship the God. Now in tune with herself Vision understands that we are tripod beings mind, body, and soul. When Vision debut her first CD in 2006 she only pressed 100 copies. Every copy went that day. Vision knew then her dream to touch the world with her music was more than a possibility. Vision became interested in every aspect of the music industry and decided to start her own label. She has had the privilege of working with artist such as Sheila Raye Charles daughter of legendary Ray Charles, Fat Pimp, Sixx Mann and a host of others. Vision has assisted in taking artist careers to regional level. Vision has been interviewed across the southern region by different disc jockeys and radio stations as a thriving Indie Label owner and given the title in one interview " The Hardest Working Woman In The Music Industry". To write in a Bio all that there is of Vision and who she is would be the equivalent of writing a book, a few movies and a television series. Listen, hear and experience what Vision has seen, does see, and foresee. Her music says it all.
