WEird Compliment is a musical compilation of two artists from West Orange and Newark, New Jersey. West Orange, New Jersey a suburban area where Chuck Revere resides and Newark, New Jersey is an urban city where Al Jones the other half of WEird Compliment was born and raised. They both attended Morristown- Beard School in Morristown, NJ and formed the group at the end of their Junior year. After a controversial prank of posting a list of the hottest girls at the school to the student body, the two faced expulsion. Luckily Al Jones and Chuck Revere were subjected to an in-school suspension and placed on a final warning policy. As a result of their punishment they decided to make a song pertaining to the list and that is when the group was formed. Originating from a group consisting of four members, but now with only two, the group is optimistic for the future. It was obvious right when the two started writing and recording songs they had a natural rap talent. Their attributes range from their witty wordplay and lyrical ability to their knack for composing catchy songs. Chuck Revere has a nerdy, quirky swagger that is indicative of his intellectual nature. Al Jones has more of a smooth and laid back persona which compliments his social intuition. The two make a perfect paradox. Very different styles and in some ways polar opposites, however the combination of the two strangely correspond hence the name: WEird Compliment.
