In 2009, Western Heritage saw the release of it's debut EP, "Native America." That summer, the band was chosen to perform at Dfest in Tulsa, OK and, later that year, won a grand prize in the Festival4Stars International Songwriting Competition for "She's Only 16." The latter took Lashley to London for several weeks, where he spent time co-writing and working to further expose his talent. 2010, thus far, has brought the release of a brand new single, "California State Of Mind," and music licensing opportunities with MTV and Fox Sports. Lashley will return to London for the remainder of the year, where he'll continue to do what he does best.
