They are one of the most musically entertaining – high voltage and uniquely talented bands to emerge on the Bay Area scene in decades! WHOGAS has been playing shows through out California for the past three years, putting on high-energy performances for their loyal and ever growing fan base. Musical influences include rock, funk, reggae, jazz, soul and hip-hop songs that range from personal to political. WHOGAS stays true to their original sound and style, keeping distance from the passing trends and fads. With the release of their highly anticipated debut album in February 2009, WHOGAS is ready to step up their game, ignite the after burners, burn down the house and tap every avenue available to them! This hard working, fun loving band recently won first place in northern California 's Battle Of The Bands, hosted by Emergenza Music Festival at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. After winning in Northern CA, WHOGAS went on to perform at Hollywood 's famed Key Club. Geared up and good to go, WHOGAS will be playing bigger venue gigs, such as benefits, festivals, and concert halls. College and mainstream radio play along with new performance mediums are high priorities for this, Wall–of-Sound band.
