Willemstarz was created by John"JI"Harris in 2003, with long time friend and fellow rapper Sonny"van fruzen"Acosta. The group first started out producing underground rap songs in the Native language spoken on Curacao, but later on when singer/rapper Ricky"ur neighbor"Rack and rapper Ghetto P joined, the crew emergered with a new sound mix of hip hop and R&B.
