Wish was formed in 1990 by Dave Hyland and Flip with the intent on making the most emotionally charged music possible. Upon meeting Troy Bradbury that became a reality. The band went on a creative spree that would result in two EP releases, 'A Child's World" and "In Solitude". Wish was formed in 1990 by Dave Hyland and Flip with the intent on making the most emotionally charged music possible. Upon meeting Troy Bradbury that became a reality. The band went on a creative spree that would result in two EP releases, 'A Child's World" and "In Solitude". After winning the Bowie Battle of the Bands competition Dave Hyland left and Wish welcomed John Williams as their new lead guitarist. The band continued to enjoy local success and reached it's climax in 1995 with the successful release of "For Your Displeasure". Wish released a best of CD, Fustertated in 1998 and has continued to get together here and there to write or jam. In 2007, the desire to write new music forced Wish to reunite under the name wish(again) with the addition of former Etherpool and Stormfront drummer Ryan Clark. in 2010 Wish(again) released their first new CD in 15 years and began playing selected shows to highlight their new music.
