Born March 7, 1982 in Queens, NY, Xavier Lewis was offered a second chance at life. Despite having two biological siblings of his own, he was being raised as an only child, but its then that he would start his humble road to super stardom. A mother at times can come in so many different forms as did he in the form of his aunt, Bertha Lewis. They moved several times until landing in Miami, FL where the pursuit of his dreams would begin. Valuing his gift of a mother, Xavier had no choice but to respect her upbringing. She raised him in church, encouraging him to showcase his talents in the church choir. It was at those moments a handsome kid, young and stylish with this powerful, soulful voice would debut. Sparking his passion for music and deep love for the arts, he was blazing a path for himself quickly becoming one of R&B’s most sought after talents! However, much like the common problem so many artists run into, Xavier endured the pains and struggles of once being locked into a bad record deal until Reginald Bernard, now his manager, began to pave his road to freedom by calling on an old high school coach and mentor, Ted Gustus for help. Coach Gustus then took things a step further by bringing in a group called Men of Faith Ventures who took special interests in and responded to Xavier’s faithful efforts providing the ultimate contribution and support system, granting him the opportunity to now share his talents and message of song with the rest of the world. His humble focus, dedicated determination, inspiring perseverance and never-ending work ethic has already begun to align him a very impressive portfolio. In 2005, he was chosen on the spot to sing the National Anthem for one of Laila Ali’s prime time fights in Atlanta, GA shown on ESPN2 and HBO. Xavier has also had the privilege to tour and perform overseas in Madrid and Barcelona, Spain and Winnipeg, Canada. Realizing you must crawl before you walk, thankful to his manager, he’s gone from background singer to headliner sharing stages with some of the music industry’s most elite. He’s appeared on local and prime time television shows abroad and in 2008 was featured with an interview live on the Today Show in NYC. From there, he went on to showcase a standout performance on NBC’s Hit TV show, Americas Got Talent and after becoming an American fan favorite on the show, still gets raving reviews of his performance on YOUTUBE by the hundreds of thousands. With the accolades, the charisma, the voice and the talents, this singer-songwriter, Xavier Lewis is truly an aspiring legend. In addition to his individual goals and endeavors, he’s made a promise to use his vocal abilities for the sake of others by singing to raise funds for foundations. As a result, he’s caught the eyes and interests of other artists, record label execs, radio program directors, broadcast television and a long range of fans all over the world. He’s the co-CEO of Millennium Soul Music Group Inc and now with many great feats already completed, the only thing left for this R&B sensation is to bring soul back to R&B. Ladies and gentlemen, presented to you is the next great thing in music, “The Antidote to R&B”, Xavier Lewis.
