The unique, full of energy, original, open mind style of XIT LYT will strike you from the very first note. Topical & original, XIT LYT combines influences from Metal, Rock, Hard Rock, Speed Metal, and more with their Latino heritage in a style all their own. With tempo changes, hard-hitting solos, striking vocals, & an amazing stage presence, XIT LYT encompasses everything a great Metal band of today should be.
XIT LYT started in May 2006 with Ivan (guitar, vocals) and JR (drums). They played without a bass player for over 6 months, trying to focus on composition only. In November 2006, Gabriel (bass) joined the band after hearing Ivan and JR practicing in a local band rehearsal space. He saw this as a big opportunity since he was looking for a good metal band for months. The style of XIT LYT quickly got his attention. Since that day they started working on the band like a full time job, and have been loving every hard working minute. The main goal of the band is to take this hobby that has become a passion and let it explode in shows & professional recordings.
