Biography John tha Baptist is a God fearing, God loving, Holy Ghost filled minister and gospel rapper who preaches the Word of God and repentance through his lyrics.  John gave his talent to the Lord in 2008 vowing to only make music for the glory of God.  John's first gospel assignment was a mixtape entitled REPENTANCE and was released in 2009 with powerful songs such as "Bring the Church to You", and "Wh...at Profited a Man".  His mission is to inspire people to come to Christ and enlighten them through music with heart convicting songs. John tha Bap, as many refer to him, has also performed in a stage play entitled " 7 Ways How to Love a Strong Black Woman".  His newest assignment, "A Repentant Drugdealer", is his true debut in the music industry.  It is an 18 track album with testimonies of John's past life as a drug dealer and how God saved his life.  He hopes and prays that through this album, he can counteract the lies that the devil has been feeding the youth in the glorification of drug selling and drug usage.  John wants the youth to know that that lifestyle only brings pain in the end, for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through His son Jesus Christ!
