Based out of Georgia Tech, YouseGuyses Productions has had a much historied career in the film making industry. The team was assembled first in 1998 at a local Bojangles in Charlotte, NC. The ringleaders, Bryan Chan and Andy Cheung, decided to relocate the team in the summer of 2000 due to inspirational needs to Seattle, WA. However, the Seattle stint was to be short-lived because of personal space complications between the team members in their shanty apartment complex. In the spring of 2001, YouseGuyses traveled to the Great Salt Lake State, where they recruited Ian Frame, who was then a drummer for the crumbling, one-hit-wonder band "Four Guys One Cup". In Utah, YouseGuyses saw tremendous success and fame. YouseGuyses directed and produced a slew of critically acclaimed independent films, including, but not limited to, "Little Miss Sunshine", "The Science of Sleep", and "Slapshot". Due to their successes, Mormons living in their community became restless and irked at YouseGuyses' extravagant lifestyle. At one of the larger weekly band parties hosted at Bryan's household, Mormons stormed in with sledgehammers and obscene amounts of chloroform, outraged at Bryan and his never-ending antics and arrogant behavior. In the fall of 2006, YouseGuyses moved to the West Side in Atlanta. There they came across one Matthew Smith, a former cocaine dealer and 2000 Commonwealth Games cricket silver medal winner, and added him to the crew. YouseGuyses' brief hiatus in filmmaking should be duly noted. In December 2006 through March 2007, the crew decided to participate in a team building exercise by joining the French Foreign Legion and fighting terrorism in South America. 11 ex-convicts tried and 50,000 pounds of seized cocaine later, the team decided it was time to return to making films. After residing in Atlanta for several months, Ian eventually befriended nextdoor neighbor and rapper Soulja Boy. YouseGuyses collaborated with Soulja Boy to implement his music tracks into several short films about homelessness and mental retardation in exchange for a couple pairs of technicolor Bathing Apes. Many historians credit Soulja Boy's recent successes to his previous work with YouseGuyses. Recent work in Atlanta by YouseGuyses includes the short film "Friday" for Georgia Tech's Campus Moviefest 2008.-Bryan Chan
