Siblings, Zach and Niki grew up in Colorado where they both found an interest in music, but it wasn't until 2010 that they had ever really collaborated on their shared passion. - Zach grew up playing in the high school jazz band. In college, he was introduced to bluegrass and picked up the banjo. He would go on to play with the band Oakhurst for 7 years before deciding to leave to focus on his own music. Niki hit the road at a young age, hopping trains and hitchhiking all around the country with her Ukelele. She landed in Brooklyn and stayed for a few years developing her sound. One day, after Niki had returned to Denver, Zach phoned up his sister and had her over to try singing on some of his songs - things really clicked. Some call it, "blood harmony". Some call it "really, damn good". - Think banjos and ukuleles with pop sensibility and rock tendencies. Great vocal harmonies. Heavily influenced by the bands Wilco, The AVett Brothers, The Flaming Lips and Beck.
